Suggest Food Donation

Tips on Donations

One of the things needed the most are non-food items, such as: paper products, household items, personal hygiene items, etc.

Cornucopia will also accept gift certificates, as well as cash donations, which are tax deductible.  Checks can be made out tithe Cornucopia Food Pantry or the United Campus Ministry.

We have an eclectic mix of patrons and customers, a diverse mix of graduate students, folks from a variety of cultures, families with kids, staff and the like. Many of the folks eat very healthy foods and food from a variety of cultures, and have particular dietary needs and restrictions. With such diversity of people we are trying to collect requests and get suggestions of food that people would like to see at the food pantry. Often times people wish to help but are not sure what items are needed and what to donate. So please feel free to email us with any special requests of foods you would like to see. Just email us at waysmeet@msn.com with your request.  Please include the following information in your email:
  • Person Suggesting/From:
    • Babcock Hall
    • Durham Resident
    • Forest Park
    • Other On-Campus
    • Other Off-Campus
  • List of Food Items you would like to see
  • Any comments you have.

Thank you!
