Cornucopia: Waysmeet Center (United Campus Ministry)

Hours of Operation: The Cornucopia Food Pantry is open twice a week, Tuesdays from 4-5:30 p.m. and Fridays from 12-2 pm, and by appointment by calling at 862-1165.

 

Donations and volunteers are welcome throughout the year.

Program Coordinator: Emily Dickman is our Program Coordinator this semester and is a Social Work and Women's Studies major. Among other things she is the weekly food pantry coordinator, the event coordinator, and manages the daily volunteers in the Waysmeet Center. She can be reached ejl44@wildcats.unh.edu for general volunteer or program inquiries.

Food Basket Coordinator: Catherine Lee is the Food Basket Coordinator for the semester and is organizing the creation of the Thanksgiving and Winter Food Baskets, which assist over 200 families each season. Catherine is a Sociology and Geography major with a Race, Culture, Power minor. Catherine can be reached about volunteer opportunities or food basket donations at cex56@wildcats.unh.edu.

Nutrition Specialists: Justine Seymour and Julia Credendino are our Nutrition Specialists for the semester. Both Julia and Justine are Nutrition majors. Together, their focus is on food rescue in our community, as well as promoting health and nutrition within the pantry. Julia can be reached at jlp238@wildcats.unh.edu and Justine can be reached at jly266@wildcats.unh.edu with questions or comments about nutrition and the pantry.

Drop Offs

Donations can be dropped off at any time in the donation bin just inside the front door of the Waysmeet Center.

Directions

The Waysmeet Center, home of Cornucopia, is located at 15 Mill Road in downtown Durham. We are across from "C" parking lot at UNH, two driveways down from the Durham Shopping Plaza on the same side of Mill Road. The Food Pantry is located in the basement of the Waysmeet Center.
